I took a hiatus to Chicago and then Alaska and then back into the thick of things in NYC. Since coming back Wednesday, I have met with London-based director Chris Gage for a rehearsal of two plays being developed specifically for the Alzheimer's population (written, and initially acted in, by yours truly and the wonderful Miranda Noelle Wilson). After a quick 5-hour rehearsal and script changes, Thursday and Friday, I participated in the first round of performances. We are on track to having two very special plays. The residents were engaged and involved and, as partial actors/improvisers in the piece, led to many an interesting turn.

Then Friday I continued my day of performances and pulled a double-header by doing an improv show at the Sparks Cafe & Arts Center with my team, Ghost Fight.

Saturday brought a musical improv class (through the Magnet Theater) --yup, musical-- and another meeting with Chris before he headed back to the UK.

Today brought a meeting for a sketch (video and stage) group that I may get involved with.

I look forward to some sleep--though the feature-length horror/thriller I am producing will not write itself.

Smiles.
